OBAMA EXPOSE`

I was thinking about how President Obama was going about, solving the economic crisis which, apparently has him in a mess, politically? Make no beans about it the Country is experiencing the worst deficit and to put it in perspective the cumulated deficit of the Bush Administration does not even come close to what Obama has created in 7months;  

I have not understood any of his actions on issues such as the Cap and Trade, the Government take-over of our health care, buyouts of the automakers, wall street banks and implanting of cash into banks who didn’t need it, Fanny and Freddie, the TARP debacles, and the continuations cash stimulus started by Bush. Why would he put our Country deeper in debt by with all theses tax heavy policies? However, I believe I now understand what his problems are and why, I believe, he is very mixed up. This will take a while to explain because he has been mentored on this for many years.

Remember, Obama’s claim to fame is that he was a Community Organizer (CO) which may explain his priorities and his actions. So lets examine how a CO is trained and what for. Obama’s mentor was a guy named Saul Alinsky also from Chicago.

According to NewsMax.com reporter, Diane Alden’s article on Jan. 2003, “Saul Alinsky died in 1972. He was a Marxist grassroots organizer who spent much of his life organizing rent strikes and protesting conditions of the poor in Chicago in the 1930s. However, unlike Christian socialist and activist for the poor Dorothy Day, Alinsky's real claim to fame was as strategist for anti-establishment '60s radicals and revolutionaries.

Indeed, Alinsky wrote the rule book for '60s radicals like Bill and Hillary Clinton, George Miller and Nancy Pelosi. He considered Hillary Rodham to be one of his better students and asked her to join him in his efforts as an organizer of radical leftist causes. But Hillary had other fish to fry on her climb to national prominence.” Alinsky’s book Rules for Radicals, a Pragmatic Primer for Realistic Radicals Copyrighted 1971 is the book that I will use to prove why Obama is not the world class leader he thinks he is.

Alinsky took years to develop his skills as an CO and he did that at the very same place Obama learned, trained and practiced this same trade. Alinsky had a much harder time becoming an OC because he was white and a Jew, at least Obama had color on his side. I will examine that the CO’s attributes may be the cause of, why his policies are failing.

The main purpose of the CO is to excite the downtrodden and go after the chosen establishment. Obama’s chose to do his work in an area that the people would label him “an outsider”. According to Alinsky that meant that he had to immerse himself and absorb the community’s language, culture, religion, mannerisms, anecdotes, values and idioms. Since Obama was just out of law school he had to find a job in order to support himself but would also support him in his CO endeavor. He went to work for a law firm that would pay him for doing some low profile pro-bono cases while supporting his CO training.

According to Alinsky it is rare if not impossible to find a person that would make a perfect CO. There are some qualities that all CO’s must have, at least to some extent:

• Curiosity—Is what makes a CO organize. He is driven by a compulsive curiosity that knows no limits, and never ends.

• Irreverence—and curiosity go together. The basic question asked by the CO is: Is this true just because this has always been this way, is it the best or the right way of life, religion, political or economic value.

• Imagination---Is the dynamism that starts and sustains him in his whole life of action as a CO. It ignites and feeds the force that drives him to organize for change.

• A sense of humor—To maintain sanity.

• An organized personality—The OC must be well organized himself so he can be comfortable in a disorganized situation. There must enough issues to organize because the OC needs the action as much as an individual needs oxygen.

The basic difference between the Organization (ORG) Leader who the CO works for is that the leader goes on to build power and fulfills his desires to hold and to wield power for social and personal purposes. The organizer finds his goal in the creation of power for others.

Obama’s campaign was a result of his learning how to be a CO. His command of rhetoric without factoring in the specifics was basically his intent and not what he was trained to do. See I think he thought the people he was preaching too knew what he was going to say, he was right by the way, and all he had to do was build the rhetoric around his two main premises of “hope and change”.

Alinsky says a CO must be a well-integrated political schizoid, in order not to slip into becoming a true believer. Before men can attack an issue it must be polarized. Men will act when they are convinced that their cause is 100% on the side of the “Angels”, meaning the people to be organized, and the opposition is 100% behind the “Devil”, the establishment. The CO knows that there can be no action until issues are polarized to this degree.

Here is where Obama’s problems started. January 20, 2009 at 12:01 pm he became the Establishment “Leader” and prior to that during his campaign he was acting against the Government or establishment. Well guess what, he just became the “Devil”, establishment, and now the people or” Angels” are fighting against the “Devil’s” policies. Another problem, in his prior life as a CO, he was organizing and working with the downtrodden, uneducated and mostly non-working “Angels”. Now, as the Devil, he is tying to organize the masses of “Angels” most of which are smarter and have more experience in just about everything than he.

Alinsky says the CO must always accept without fear or worry that the odds are always against him.

Now the people or “Angels” are Communities, without fear or worried about losing their jobs, there are none to be had. They are Moms, both at home or working, and worried about their children’s future and retired individuals, so the CO switch has been flipped. The “Angels” are coming together and will fight because they know they are right and because of the Obama’s tactics of degrading the “Angels”. I think the “Angels” will win.

Keep in mind that health care has always been the major entry into Socialism around the world and the “Angels” know this. Obama didn’t expect that they knew. A lot of these “Angels” came from Socialistic countries, and we have a lot of them.

Alinsky says the organizer is constantly creating the new out of the old. Isn’t that what the “Angels” are doing? The “Angels” know what other countries got themselves into and want no part of it. They want something new not used, specially if it means a complete restructure and reengineering based on tried and failed models. They want our current capitalistic, market driven system which means getting the “Devil” out of the way. They also know that the middle class will be footing the bill and since the middle class people are not working enough to pay the taxes it is really a mute point.

The difference between the Devil (Obama) and the “Angels” is the Angels know the Country will have a double trillion dollar deficit and the people Obama was organizing, back in the day, were people who couldn’t care less. They just wanted everything other people have only they wanted it given to them.

Alinsky says, one can lack some of the qualities of an organizer, with one exception and still be effective and successful as and CO. That is exception is the art of communication.

You can imagine how wide eyed and excited the Chicago downtrodden “Angel’s were when Obama was preaching his “Your Are Entitled” message. Obama organized those same people to do his campaigning and voter registration, jumping up and down with their signs and singing the phrases “Obama is the one we’ve been waiting for” for his State Senator election as well as National campaigns. Does ACORN mean anything to you? He had these people believing he would pay their mortgages, if they had one, and they could pressure the banks to provide them with mortgages, even if they had no money.  Does Sub-prime mean anything to you?

It is easy to communicate with “Angels” as long as the Angels are waiting to hear that they can get something just by hollering screaming at the “Devil” establishment. Obama now represents the “Devil” and the “Angels” are now doing the hollering and they aren’t buying what he is selling.    

Alinsky says the CO must have a sense of humor if he is to stay sane.

Obama, now the ”Devil” leader, is either preaching or telling us “Angels” what is going to happen. He has made more speeches than any other President. To his followers he is “the anointed one” and they love him and his rhetoric. To the serious listeners that’s all they hear and the only sense of humor I have heard is when he makes demeaning remarks about the fools, “Angels” protesting. Then his followers laugh. What kind of humor can he have when he always talking to a teleprompter it’s like he’s watching a tennis match. As a CO he might have been a good communicator but as the “Devil” leader he has no sense of humor and he stinks.

Alinsky says a maxim of effective communication is that the people, “Angels”, have to make their own decisions and that utilizing the process of back and forth and give and take will lead to the “Angels” making the decision, that the CO is looking for.

Obama as the “Devil” leader has already made the decisions for the “Angels”. He is just telling us how it is going to be. What would that be? Well he is pushing a socialistic health care system and the “Angels” don’t want that, they want an improved economy and job creation now. We the “Angels” are not buying his snake oil treatment of health care. Obama really gets mixed up when it comes to questions. As a CO he was used to asking the questions in order to get in a back and forth discussion knowing that eventuality he and the “Angel” Organization would agree on the problems and a course of action. Now as the “Devil” leader and taken off the teleprompter he doesn’t really know what to say. He gets in most of his trouble when in this situation. He is also is speaking to well educated, more experienced and much smarter “Angel” community who know that there are better solutions then the ones he is presenting.

Alinsky says communication without factoring in specifics of experience becomes just rhetoric and carries a limited meaning. Obama has no experience in any of the issues the “Angels” want to have resolved, and the Congress knowing what he doing is wrong, is just playing party politics.

If you have seen any of the townhall type meetings he has participated in you would have seen that he starts out with the typical Obama style teleprompter speech. You know that the meeting participants have been screened and the questions are of a low ball nature. You also should have seen that he allows only around eight questions after which he offers at least a 5 to 8 minute rhetoric answer, mostly claiming none of this is his fault. I watched two of these meetings and there is always a question about the dissenting “Angels” (people) raising a ruckus at their Congressmen meetings. His answer is usually that they are part of the rightwing influenced by talk radio and FOX News. He still thinks he is talking about the “Devil” establishment.

Alinsky makes a point that at some time it should become obvious that communications occur concretely by means of ones Specific Experience. Obama has none and can not relate to the “Angels” who have been through this stuff before. He can not communicate with them.

Alinsky says the real job of the CO is to maneuver and bait the establishment so that they attack the CO publicly as a dangerous enemy. Again Obama as 01/20/2009 became the establishment and he is getting attacked by the Angel community who is smarter. WHAT IS HE TO DO???? He has never been an establishment leader, and neither has anybody in his administration. If the Country wasn’t in this mess this would be something to watch and see how it plays out.

Alinsky says an OC’s biggest job was to give the people the feeling that they can do something they thought they could never do and that the idea of an organization means power. This is what I mean: During his campaign he was very well organized. He was empowering the people to organized against anybody that represent the establishment that included John McCain, Hillary Clinton, just to name the obvious. He organized the use of the internet and raised a ton of cash, the radical leftwing websites and Blogs to blast all the hate they could at the other candidates and the Bush administration.

Well he is now the “Devil Establishment” leader and even though the majority of Congress is of the same political party as he, he now has no idea what to do. There are dissenters everywhere and now he is the “Devil” between himself and deep in “Angels” swimming to attack him.

There are 10 rules for the radical OCs that pertains to the ethics of “Means and Ends” I am not going to comment on all of the, just a few to prove my point. Alinsky says:                                 

·         “One concern with ethics of means and ends varies inversely with one’s distance from the conflict”.

I define the conflict as what the “Angels” (people) think is necessary vs. what the “Devil” wants to inflict on them. The “Angels” want to see some movement in the growth of the economy and jobs before anything else. The “Devil” thinks this can be part of his health care reform, and his energy policy. The “Angels” sees these as political policy, an inroad to Socialism, to grow the size of government, raise taxes and diminished liberty. The “Devil” looks at the people as stupid and blames them for believing the conservative news. The “Devil” goes on the attack calling the “Angels” everything under the sun. The “Devil” then decides to change the name from “health care reform” to “healthcare insurance reform” and blames the big insurance companies for the mess. That didn’t work, the Devil went after the clergy to make if a moral issue, that didn’t work, now they are thinking of calling it Teddy care. Congress may not know what they are doing but the “Angels” say we don’t care what you call it or what color lipstick you put on the pig it’s still a pig. This is where the conflict now stands and Obama is so far removed from it.  In his mind the “Angels” created the great divide and he wants it his way for political reasons and he seems determined to widen the gap even further.

·         This rule must be a major conflict with Obama now being the establishment “Devil” and not the CO. The rule is “that the judgment of the ethics of means is dependent upon the political position of those sitting in judgment”

I bet during his vacation he was wondering what the heck is he going to do? His approval ratings are sinking faster than the Titanic and the people don’t want either of his big policies, of a Government takeover of health care or the Cap and Trade. While he thought he was elected on these issues he was not listening to the issues of his opposition. The people sitting in judgment were his opposition and now they are joined by many of the people that supported him. His supporters all but dismissed the fact and believed him when he said he would end the wars but instead he stayed the Bush course. So far he is batting zero with the Independents and they are not to be screwed again. WHO IS NOW SITTING IN JUDGMENT? Is it Congress? Is it the special interest lobbies?? Or is it the Angels. Right now he cannot figure what means he should employ to reach his ends.

·         Another rule is that the concern with ethics increases with the number of means available and vice versa.

This is a rule he must also be thinking about very hard now. But don’t forget he is now the “Devil” establishment and not the CO which choice of means or ends he is going to select. Obama has to make some hard decisions who he going to throw under the bus. He has many choices like the leftwing radicals in and out of Congress, the big money supporters like George Soros, Nancy Pelosi, who has already told him she will not let a health care come before the House without there being a single payer option, Senior Citizens, organized labor, big business, the Lawyer lobby. He has already made some substantial deals with labor and the pharmaceutical Co. I am sure he has done the same for the TORT lawyer lobby as well

·         Alinsky says, The CO simultaneous carries on many functions as he attacks and disrupts the prevailing power.

Obama used some of his teaching and practices when he was organizing the South side of Chicago crowd. Being the “Devil” establishment now he looks at the “Angel” community as a disorganized bunch of mobsters or Astroturf Nazis, and he decided to go on the attack. But Alinsky says there is no such animal as a disorganized community. It is a contradiction in terms to use the two words “disorganized” and “community” together. The word community itself means an organized communal life, people living in an organized fashion.

Just the fact that the different communities all over the Country came together to voice their opinions and concerns at TEA Parties and in Townhall meetings should be proof enough for Obama.

All the attacks, even paying ACORN to disrupt town meetings has not worked so now he has to come up with something better, or get this PIG of a health care plan pushed thorough the backdoor. My opinion it will be the backdoor approach or it will be completely rewritten.

·         Obama must realize by now that he, as Alinsky says “one can not negotiate without power to compel negotiation”. Obama only has power over the Neanderthals in the “Devil” Congress. He is totally out of touch with the “Angel” community. I think his biggest mistake was to make health care a one issue crusade and the “Angels” look at it, not only as a health care issue but as a multi-issue problem which, the others must have be solved before his single issue of healthcare. The “Angels” are using commonsense, as well as sub-consciously using an Alinsky rule that an organization must have more than one issue to disrupt the “Devil. They know that Obama has added multi- trillions of dollars to the National Deficit, an that fixing the economy and job creation has to be resolved first. All the “Angels” have to do is ask detailed questions and the “Devils” Minions start to fall apart. One very basic question is where is he money coming from? The one question they know the answer to but are afraid to tell them. “TAXES”, and MEDICARE CUTS, which they still think are the answers. But in most cases they don’t know the answers because most of the”Devils” have not read any of the bills.

So to sum-up Obama’s problems, he has been trying to employ CO tactics a strategy believing the townhall people are numskulls. Instead they are communities who by nature are already organized. He has not made the switch to the establishment leader and he still has not taken ownership of the problems that needs to be solved. He still believes the economy, jobs and the mounting deficit are of George Bush’s creation and he can use that as a crutch.

President Obama must soon find his way and take ownership of these problems. He might think HC is what propelled him into office but it wasn’t. He pitched Change, Change. Change, he knew what the problems were but he just wanted to take advantage of the crisis and get his dream of a Government Health Care single payer system voted in.

Obama is home from vacation and has scheduled a joint meeting of Congress sometime Labor Day week. Let’s see if he has learned anything while he was away.
